PROGRAM DESIGN AND EVALUATION

Evaluation Grounded in Community and Context
We design and evaluate programs with close attention to the policy, institutional, and community contexts in which they operate. Our work helps organizations understand how systems shape outcomes and how programs can be adapted to better serve communities.

We partner with organizations across health, education, housing, and social services to deliver evaluations that support accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
How We Approach Program Design & Evaluation
Our approach is grounded in culturally responsive and equitable evaluation (CREE) and informed by a systems-level understanding of how programs function across policy, institutional, and implementation environments.

We work closely with program teams and community stakeholders to clarify what success looks like, identify meaningful outcomes, and design evaluation strategies that reflect both lived experience and evidence. This includes careful attention to power, context, and whose perspectives are centered in evaluation questions, data collection, and interpretation.

Our goal is to produce findings that are methodologically sound, contextually grounded, and usable—supporting decision-making, learning, and continuous improvement rather than evaluation for evaluation’s sake.

Impact From Our Work

When Program Design & Evaluation Support Is Most Helpful
This work is a strong fit for organizations navigating complexity; where programs are shaped by policy, institutional practice, funding requirements, and community realities at the same time. We often partner with organizations that:

-
Are designing or refining multi-level programs
-
Operate within policy, regulatory, or institutional systems
-
Need evaluations that meet funder requirements without oversimplifying context
-
Want findings that support real decision-making and program improvement
-
Value evaluation approaches that center equity and community voice
