MEET SUPRIYA

Supriya Padhye is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) and capacity-building specialist with over 14 years of experience in international development, including more than 8 years across the Pacific region. She specializes in designing and implementing MEL systems, conducting mixed-methods and impact evaluations, and supporting evidence-based decision-making across complex, multi-country programs.
She has worked with multilateral organizations, international NGOs, and regional institutions — including the World Bank Group, Fairtrade Australia & New Zealand, Oceania Football Confederation, Evidence Action, and Oxfam — across climate change, social responsibility, economic development, WASH, and public health programs.

Supriya's technical expertise spans MEL system design, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, impact evaluations, and donor reporting for MFAT, DFAT, and UNOPS. She has led evaluations in rural, remote, and underserved communities using mixed-methods and realist-informed approaches. She is also experienced in capacity building and stakeholder engagement, partnering with governments, local organizations, and community-based groups to strengthen monitoring systems and promote adaptive management. Her work consistently integrates GEDSI principles and ethical, "do no harm" practices.
Having worked across New Zealand, the United States, India, Fiji, Vanuatu, and Tonga, she brings a strong cross-cultural perspective and a demonstrated ability to operate in diverse, resource-constrained environments.
